Wesley Hammer

Pastor

Wesley Hammer was born and raised in Stony Point, NC. While attending services at Stony Point Tabernacle he was saved at the age of 13. He graduated from Alexander Central High School in 1985. He married his wife Paige on April 22nd 1990. After their marriage he moved to Calvary Baptist Church in Taylorsville where Bro. Stephen Dagenhart is the Pastor. While at Calvary he was blessed to serve as Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher, and Vacation Bible School Superintendent. Wesley and Paige have three children; Isaac, Landon, and Luke. God had delt with Wesley since High School about preaching the word of God but it wasn't until 2003 at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church while Dr. James Lockee was preaching that Wesley submitted to the will and call of God and began to preach the Gospel. In April of 2005 the Stony Point Tabernacle called Wesley to supply for three months and on September 11th, 2005 they called him to be there Pastor. Wesley started West Lenoir Baptist School of Ministry in 2008 and graduated in 2011 with a bachelors of divinity degree and his masters of divinity in Feb. 2013.

Andrew Brown

Assistant Pastor & Youth Leader

Andrew Brown was saved on June 25, 2004, at the age of 20. He served as a Sunday School teacher at Calvary Baptist Church where he was raised. He married his wife, Emily, on July 30, 2005. After their marriage, Andrew moved to Poplar Springs Baptist Church where he and Emily both served as Sunday School teachers. The Lord blessed them with two sons, Connor and Caden. On August 25, 2013, Andrew surrendered to the call to preach. In 2016, he received a bachelor’s degree in theology and in 2019, a master’s degree in theology both from Victory Bible Institute. In April 2022, Stony Point Tabernacle called Andrew to be their Associate Pastor, and he began serving the church in August. He and his wife have a strong desire to minister to the young people so that they may come to know Jesus as their Savior and to grow in grace through His Word. Andrew also holds an associate degree in biomedical technology and a bachelor’s degree in technical management. He enjoys spending time with his family. Patsy Little

Church Secretary

Patsy Little is a Christian laywoman, short term missionary, and devoted student of the WORD of GOD. She has made several foreign and many stateside mission trips. She teaches our WOW Bible classes and leads our GriefShare ministry. She recently became certified in Grief Recovery and Joy Restoration Coaching.  She has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Gardner Webb University. On July 10, 2022, she became the first church secretary at Tabernacle Baptist Church. She has 2 grown daughters, 4 glorious grandchildren, and 2 rescue beagles. She also enjoys reading, gardening, and playing the piano. Her greatest passion is her personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ!
